Bison and Zizzi serve up treat for fans and Ark

Sherfield School Basingstoke Bison players are set to serve up a treat for fans of the Herd and a fundraising boost for Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Long-time Bison sponsor Zizzi will be opening their doors to Bison fans on Wednesday, November 8 for the first of three charity nights which will see some of the Herd become waiters for the evening.

Bison head coach Doug Sheppard and several members of the team will be on hand to serve, and chat to, the diners who come along to the popular Top of The Town restaurant in Basingstoke.

Bookings will start at 6pm and as well as being served by the Herd, the dinner guests can buy tickets for a raffle where prizes will include a signed Bison shirt, a signed ice hockey stick, Zizzi vouchers, and a Zizzi gift basket.

Mark Jones, director of fundraising and communications for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, said: “Ark is proud to be a community partner of the Bison, and the charity is grateful for this generous show of support from Doug, the players, and the team at Zizzi.

“This will be a great evening and the charity appreciates the support from Bison fans and Ark supporters who come along to enjoy this special night and the other two charity nights that are taking place in early 2018.”

The dates for the diary for the 2018 Bison-Zizzi Charity Nights are Wednesday, January 17 and Wednesday, March 7. To book a table for November 8, or the other evenings, call Zizzi on 01256 358300.
