Howzat! Great support from Shaun and Cotton Graphics

He's a Hampshire sporting legend who has made his mark in the world of business – and now Shaun Udal and his company have bowled in with great support for a charity that is helping to fund a unique local cancer treatment centre.

The former Hampshire and England cricketer is managing director of thriving Basingstoke firm Cotton Graphics – and he has just announced that in 2017, the company will be supporting Ark Cancer Centre Charity as its charity of the year.

Shaun was delighted to give Ark Cancer Centre Charity trustee Merv Rees a tour of the Cotton Graphics factory, in Stroudley Road. This is the heart of the business which specialises in clothing and embroidery work, and has a growing client base which includes household names from across the UK corporate, business and sporting sector.

Shaun said he and his Cotton Graphics colleagues are delighted to be supporting Ark Cancer Centre Charity, and are looking forward to helping to raise awareness of the charity’s £5million appeal and the cancer treatment centre project, as well as supporting the charity with fundraising and other corporate support.

Shaun said: “We are delighted and proud to have Ark Cancer Centre Charity as our charity of the year.

“The state-of-the-art cancer treatment centre will provide not only treatment but much-needed support and complementary care to those individuals and their families affected by cancer. It is a local charity and project that really matters to, and will help, local people.

“By supporting Ark Cancer Centre Charity, the Cotton Graphics team are delighted to be making a positive contribution to the fundraising campaign that will help make the centre happen.”

Merv Rees said: “Ark Cancer Centre Charity is delighted and honoured to have the support of Shaun and other members of the Cotton Graphics team.

“Their backing will have a telling impact as they help to raise awareness of, and funds for, the charity’s £5m appeal and the cancer treatment centre project.

“Cotton Graphics is a very welcome addition to the family of Our Partner supporters. All of these organisations, and the people who are involved in them, are really making a big difference and I am grateful for their invaluable support.”
