Festival Place team make a big difference

The team at Festival Place shopping centre in Basingstoke have marked the success of a two-year fundraising campaign for Ark Cancer Centre Charity with the presentation of a very large cheque. The actual amount raised – £20,445.01 – certainly merited the size of the big cheque that was handed to Trustee Merv Rees by Centre Director Steven Connolly and his team.

Support the JOGLE16 cyclists

A group of our fantastic supporters will be cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End between July 2 and July 12, 2016 - and they'll be joined on the final three-day leg from Basingstoke by some fellow fundraisers.

Why not show them your support by taking a look at their website and sponsoring them.

We will be keeping you updated as the training continues and, of course, while the ride is taking place.

A Night of All That Jazz and Sensational Soul boosts Mayor’s Charity Appeal

The Clive Fortune Big Band and soul singer Natasha Watts and her band were the shining stars in a special one-off concert at The Anvil on Saturday, March 5 - delivering a great boost to this year’s Mayor's Charity Appeal.

The special one-off concert pulled in the pounds for Ark Cancer Centre Charity, Inspero and Basingstoke Multicultural Forum - the three charities that will benefit from the appeal being championed by Basingstoke and Deane Mayro Councillor Anne Court.

Great show of support from AXA Wealth

AXA Wealth’s employees have vowed to make a stand against cancer with a two-year programme of fundraising activities for Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Employees at the Basingstoke-based company were first invited to nominate local charities they’d like to see the company support for the next two years, with the final four going to a company-wide vote - and Ark Cancer Centre Charity won the support of the majority of employees.

Token support Really Adds Up

The support of shoppers at Waitrose and John Lewis at home in Basingstoke has delivered a great boost to the charity.

Ark Cancer Centre Charity was proud to be one of the first charities to be chosen to benefit from the Community Matters local charitable giving scheme at the combined Waitrose and John Lewis at Home store in Basing View.
