Lights, camera, action - Ark supporters have a busy weekend ahead

It's a busy weekend ahead for Ark Cancer Centre Charity and its supporters.

On Saturday, a team from wonderful Ark Our Partner supporter Clarke & Son Solicitors will be piling on the miles and pulling in the pounds on a 25km River Thames bridges walk in London.

The fabulous fundraisers from the firm of legal eagles, in Winchester Road, Basingstoke, have raised over £60,000 for Ark since 2015 and they are on course to add a further £15,000 in 2018-19.

Saturday also sees the grand finale of the Exit 6 2018 Film Festival, for which Ark is the chosen charity.

Fundraising for Ark will take place in The Malls, where some classic movie cars including the Batmobile, will be present at a family fun event during the day, before Ark director of fundraising and communications Mark Jones hands out trophies at the end of the Exit 6 Festival in The Anvil and at the after-party at Tonic.

On Sunday,  Ark Cancer Centre Charity is the chosen charity for the 2018 Basingstoke Festival Of Choirs concert.

This popular annual evening of marvellous musical entertainment is taking place on Sunday, September 30 at The Anvil, and Ark will be the beneficiary of the charity collection.

Starring hundreds of enthusiastic, local singers, the Festival Of Choirs ‘Voices Together’ concert will feature a programme of memorable music to suit all tastes and ages.

Tickets for the Festival Of Choirs ‘Voices Together’ concert, which starts at 7pm, are £16 for everyone over 16, and £8 for those under-16, which includes a £2 booking fee. They are available to purchase from the Anvil Arts box office in person or by going to https://bit.ly/2O62z1u.
