Une Grande Nuit is a grand success

Magnifique! – a fabulous French-themed evening celebrated the awesome achievements of a terrific team of cycling fundraisers and saw them smash the £200,000 barrier in support of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Une Grande Nuit was organised by the Arkriders, in partnership with the Apollo Hotel, in Basingstoke, to mark the success of three years of fundraising by the bike-riding supporters, and to pull in more money for the charity, which is raising £5million towards a new NHS cancer treatment centre in Basingstoke.

Masonic Lodge Ladies Night boost for Ark

Ark Cancer Centre Charity is grateful for a great show of support from the Elvetham Masonic Lodge.

The Ladies Night of the Elvetham Masonic Lodge raised nearly £6,000 when it was held at the Apollo Hotel in Basingstoke last month.

The black-tie event was to celebrate the end of the year of office for the Worshipful Master of the Basingstoke Lodge, Warren Snook.

With his wife Lisa and sons Oscar and Reuben, Warren was the driving force behind the event which saw 160 people enjoy a three-course dinner and a great evening of entertainment.

Arkriders beat the heat and raise over £8,750

The heat was well and truly on last weekend – but the fabulous Arkriders once again proved they’ve got what it takes when it comes to rising to a cycling challenge to support Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

They’ve piled on the pedal power from John O’Groats to Land’s End, London to Brighton, and from Basingstoke to Paris – and now they’ve added the Bournemouth Beano to their list of achievements.

It's a super Saturday for Ark

It was a super Saturday for Ark Cancer Centre Charity as thousands of pounds were added to the £5million fundraising campaign.

A busy day for the charity saw funds being raised at a Basingstoke RFC sponsors lunch, the annual Hampshire Hospitals Pantomime Players show, and a special charity concert starring a Blondie tribute band.

Atomic Rapture will rock the Apollo

They are a great tribute band - and in nine days, Atomic Rapture will be centre stage at a special charity night that will help Ark.

Saturday, January 13, 2018 is the date for the diary as Atomic Rapture perform live at the Apollo Hotel in Basingstoke.

A night of fabulous music is in store for everyone who comes along to the concert, which will raise funds for Ark and Help For Heroes - two charities that are supported by drummer Dave Taylor and colleagues at leading Basingstoke-based company Centerprise International.
