Perry is a true Ark Champion

Ark Cancer Centre Charity and Arkrider legend Perry Champion definitely lives up to his name when it comes to supporting the charity and the NHS cancer treatment centre it is raising £5million for.

Perry, who is a director of Ark Our Partner business supporter Champion Group, has really gone the extra mile for Ark in the last few years, and he has been involved in individual and team fundraising efforts that have pulled in nearly £200,000.

Ark supporters honoured at A Place to be Proud of Awards

Congratulations to Ark Cancer Centre Charity supporters who celebrated well-deserved success and recognition at the 2018 A Place to be Proud of Awards.

Ark Our Partner supporter Champion Group won the Business and the Community award following a public vote, and fellow Ark Our Partner supporter Lamb Brooks was one of the other two finalists in the same category.

The fabulous Arkriders, who have so far raised more than £170,000 for Ark, were also nominated for awards at the 2018 event and were among the finalists in the Community Project category.

Champion Charity Golf Day tees up fundraising boost for Ark

The Champion Group inaugural Charity Golf Day teed up a great fundraising boost for Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Eighteen teams took part in the event at Dummer Golf Club, and the generous support of the players as well as auction sponsors produced a winning result for Ark as £4,695.85 was raised on the day.

A well-known Basingstoke company will truly be championing Ark Cancer Centre Charity in 2018.

Over the coming year, the team at Champion Group will be taking part in various events and activities that will raise funds for, and awareness of, Ark and its appeal to provide £5million towards a much-needed unique local cancer treatment centre that will be built in the Basingstoke area.

Team Champion riders raise more than £40k

There were cheers and beers as a team of charity cyclists celebrated a marvellous fundraising feat in support of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

The 24-strong Team Champion The Wacky Riders were among thousands of cyclists who took part in Bike 4 Cancer’s 58-mile London to Brighton bike ride on September 11.

The cyclists were all raising money for the charity’s £5million appeal.

It was hoped that the total would hit £30,000 – but at a get-together to celebrate the success of the fundraising event, it was revealed that the final total has in fact topped £40,000.

A team of fundraisers are cancer charity champions after completing a cycling challenge in support of a £5million fundraising campaign.

Shaun bowls in with support for Team Champion

A team of cyclists will be looking good for a fundraising challenge in support of Ark Cancer Centre Charity – thanks to former England and Hampshire cricket star Shaun Udal.

Shaun’s Cotton Graphics company has supplied the shirts that will be worn by the 26-strong members of Team Champion The Wacky Riders on the Bike 4 Cancer London to Brighton bike ride on Sunday.

Actor James Bye backs Ark Cancer Centre Charity fundraisers

He's become a household name – and now Basingstoke-born actor James Bye is hoping to help a local good cause by giving his high-profile backing to a team of cyclists supporting a cancer charity’s £5million fundraising campaign.

James, who plays Martin Fowler in the popular BBC soap EastEnders, is backing Team Champion The Wacky Riders – a 26-strong group of fundraisers who will be taking part in a London to Brighton bike ride in support of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Champion result for Ark at Basingstoke RFC

Ark Cancer Centre Charity achieved a winning result at Basingstoke Rugby Football Club thanks to some generous support from all involved in the auction of a special sporting memento.

Champion Group, 'Stoke's main sponsor, hosted their annual sponsored match at the Down Grange club on Saturday.
