Une Grande Nuit is a grand success

Magnifique! – a fabulous French-themed evening celebrated the awesome achievements of a terrific team of cycling fundraisers and saw them smash the £200,000 barrier in support of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Une Grande Nuit was organised by the Arkriders, in partnership with the Apollo Hotel, in Basingstoke, to mark the success of three years of fundraising by the bike-riding supporters, and to pull in more money for the charity, which is raising £5million towards a new NHS cancer treatment centre in Basingstoke.

Jane's recipe for success will help Ark

It's a big week for BBC MasterChef 2016 champion Jane Devonshire who is a long-standing supporter of Ark Cancer Centre Charity and the NHS cancer treatment centre project.

Today sees the launch of Jane's first book. Hassle Free, Gluten Free: Over 100 delicious, gluten-free family recipes is published in association with Coeliac UK, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. 

Sian's art for Ark's sake is set be an auction winner

She made her mark in Ark Cancer Centre Charity’s major fundraising event of 2017 – and talented artist Sian Storey is making a big contribution to this year’s showcase event.

Basingstoke-based artist Sian has very generously created a work of art for Une Grande Nuit – and this will be one of the prizes that will be auctioned at the September 22 event.

Festival Of Choirs on song for Ark

Ark Cancer Centre Charity is honoured to be the chosen charity for the 2018 Basingstoke Festival Of Choirs concert.

This popular annual evening of marvellous musical entertainment is taking place on Sunday, September 30 at The Anvil, and Ark will be the beneficiary of the charity collection.

Starring hundreds of enthusiastic, local singers, the Festival Of Choirs ‘Voices Together’ concert will feature a programme of memorable music to suit all tastes and ages.

Ark wonder woman Anna gets her message across

She's cycled hundreds of miles, run half-marathons, and abseiled 100 metres down a Hampshire landmark - so there's no doubt that Anna O'Shea is an Ark wonder woman.

Ark Cancer Centre Charity has fabulous Our Partner business supporters - and Basingstoke legal eagles Clarke & Son Solicitors have really blazed a trail in making a difference to the charity and NHS cancer treatment centre project.

The dynamic team at Clarke & Son have raised nearly £70,000 for Ark since early 2015 - and marketing manager Darren Lovegrove is among the super supporters at the law firm who have really gone the extra mile for the good cause.

Volunteer Debbie is an Ark star

Every charity needs help from people who will step up and give a helping hand at events - and Basingstoke businesswoman Debbie Loveridge is a great volunteer supporter of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

Debbie, who runs Perpetual Flowers, has helped out at all sorts of events in recent years (she is pictured above right with fellow Ark supporter Sharon Allen) - and today she steps in front of the camera as our latest Ark video star.

Paul and Apollo's five-star support for Ark

Paul Fearon is general manager of the Apollo Hotel in Basingstoke – and he and his team are great Our Partner supporters of Ark Cancer Centre Charity.

In just over two weeks, the Apollo will be the venue for Une Grande Nuit – a very special fundraising event for Ark that has been organised by the fabulous Arkriders in partnership with Paul and his team.

Ark Cancer Centre Charity and Arkrider legend Perry Champion definitely lives up to his name when it comes to supporting the charity and the NHS cancer treatment centre it is raising £5million for.

Perry, who is a director of Ark Our Partner business supporter Champion Group, has really gone the extra mile for Ark in the last few years, and he has been involved in individual and team fundraising efforts that have pulled in nearly £200,000.

Ark Cancer Centre Charity has great Our Partner business supporters - and Merit Group is one of those companies that has really made a difference.

Samantha Noorduijn is Head of Merit Group, which is based in Basingstoke, and she is the latest supporter to appear in the new Ark video campaign.
